Accessibility Statement
Unique Counseling wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities and people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control or keyboard-only navigation.
The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard most widely used to measure website accessibility in the United States, including under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Accessibility is ongoing work: we review the site regularly and fix issues as we find them.
How we look after accessibility
- A "Skip to main content" link for keyboard users.
- Visible focus outlines so you can always see where you are when using a keyboard.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, added and checked as part of our reviews, and names for buttons and embedded content.
- A page structure with headings and landmarks that screen readers can follow.
- Color contrast checked against WCAG AA.
- Regular accessibility reviews as part of our website maintenance.
Adjust the site to suit you
Select the accessibility button in the bottom left corner of any page to open the accessibility menu. Your choices stay on as you move between pages, and "Reset all" turns them off.
The menu works alongside the accessibility settings in your own device and browser, such as zoom, screen readers and high-contrast modes.
Content from other providers
Some content on this site comes from other companies, for example maps, videos, review widgets, booking tools and downloadable documents. We choose providers with accessibility in mind, but we cannot fully control their content. If something does not work for you, let us know and we will give you the information another way.
Tell us about a problem
If you have trouble using any part of this website, or need information in a different format, please contact us. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will help. We aim to reply within 5 business days.
